I am graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santos (Faculdade de Ciências Médicas de Santos – UNILUS) in São Paulo, Brazil. I studied specialization in Pediatrics at the Federal University of São Paulo (Universidade Federal de Sao Paulo – UNIFESP) and I won my title of specialist by the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics. My desire to learn led me to undertake specializations in Pediatric Infectiology and also Health Care Related Infection, both postgraduate courses at UNIFESP. To expand my knowledge and the tools for diagnosis and treatment, I decided to look for alternatives to allopathic medicine.

Treating only the symptoms was no longer enough, it was necessary to address the origin of the disease. Traditional Chinese Medicine (medicinal herbs, Chinese magistral formulas, acupuncture, as well as care with healthy eating, breathing, psychotherapy and Yoga helped me to understand healing with a more global, more holistic approach, respecting the complexity of human beings in dimensions of the body, mind and spirit, so I decided to specialize in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture, Chinese Phytotherapy and Diet Therapy and in the Chinese Magistral Formulas). The learning field was very rich, since Unifesp’s Acupuncture sector is a pioneer and of a very high level, I had the opportunity to work with an internationally renowned team of doctors, with a large flow of patients at the Acupuncture Emergency and clinic and at the Pediatric Emergency. After completing my training in Acupuncture, I earned my Specialist Title by Brazilian Medical Association and Brazilian Medical College of Acupuncture. I started taking care of my patients with Integrative Medicine, combining the knowledge and experience of Allopathic Medicine with the approach and treatment of Chinese Medicine. I decided to continue my postgraduate studies with Chinese Phytotherapy, one through the School of Oriental Therapies of São Paulo (ETOSP) and then a new approach with the Brazilian Association for the Study and Dissemination of Chinese Magistral Formulas (ABFMC).

Systemic care, which takes people into account in their family context, has provided me with better results in treating adults and children. Integrative medicine and systemic monitoring to restore physical, mental and emotional well-being and enjoy a healthy and full life.
